The Port of Cartagena, considered as the main logistics platform in the Caribbean, ranks within the Top 100 Container Ports and according to ECLAC, it is the fourth largest port in Latin America by volume of cargo handled.

It is currently connected to 750 ports in 150 countries around the world and serves 25 shipping lines.

It serves 34 cruise ship lines and welcomes 98 percent of passengers who arrive in Colombia by sea.

It can currently handle up to 3.5 million TEUs per year, and it is preparing to reach 5.2 million.
